Spektr, a Copenhagen-based compliance-focused company, has secured €5 million in seed funding from Northzone, Seedcamp, and PreSeed Ventures. They plan to use the funding to implement advanced automation for compliance teams globally, addressing ongoing monitoring and risk management challenges. Spektr provides a no-code platform that automates risk processes, monitors activities, resolves alerts, and integrates with other systems. This automation is designed to improve operational efficiency and increase conversion rates. The investors have confidence in Spektr’s potential to become a leading player in the compliance industry.

Spektr is an all-in-one compliance hub that aims to revolutionize the way businesses approach compliance. The platform offers a fully automated solution that goes beyond traditional regulatory checkboxes, focusing on delivering direct commercial value. Spektr recognizes that compliance is often seen as a cost center but believes it can be leveraged as a pathway to lasting commercial success. By providing advanced automation tools and a comprehensive approach to compliance, Spektr is changing the game for businesses worldwide.

Spektr was founded by a team with previous experience developing a no-code platform, HelloFlow, for customer onboarding, which was later acquired by Trulioo. After speaking with over 400 compliance and risk experts, they identified a need for automation in ongoing compliance processes.

The investors, including Northzone, PreSeed Ventures, and Seedcamp, believe in Spektr’s vision and execution power. They see Spektr as a category-defining company in the compliance space and a strong candidate for future unicorn status.

Spektr’s platform offers a no-code solution for automating risk processes, setting up monitoring, resolving alerts, and integrating with vendors. This automation can boost operational efficiency and drive higher conversion rates. Additionally, the platform provides advanced analytics and reporting features for informed decision-making.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with spektr. They are an exceptional team with a very clear product vision, and we believe they will be able to leverage their experience from HelloFlow to build spektr into a category-defining company within the compliance space,” says the principal at Northzone, Maxine Rior.

Alexander Viterbo-Horten, General Partner in PSV Tech01, one of the funds in venture house PreSeed Ventures, says: “Their execution power and strategic understanding of the financial compliance market are profoundly impressive.” He adds, “This makes spektr one of the best bets on a future unicorn out of Denmark. It’s a true testament to that, that we’re several investors from the first journey who decided to invest again.”

Tom Wilson, partner at Seedcamp shared the same beliefs in the team and product: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to back Mikkel and Ciprian as they go again with spektr. The HelloFlow journey gave us a taste of the market-leading products they can build, and we’re excited to see where they can take spektr, building on that experience”.
