Event Roundup – Seedcamp, Barcamp And ArcticEvening Coming Up

There’s couple of interesting events well worth visiting coming up.

barcamp helsinkiFirst one, BarCamp is happening on 4th April in central Helsinki, Finland. Since it’s BarCamp anything is possible. Come along, propose a session, and if there is interest from someone else, then you are up. So prepare things in advance! Un-conference does not mean un-prepared. Sessions can be any format; discussion, Presentation, demo, workshop, the limiting factor is time (and can you make it interesting!). Read more here.

Secondly, Seedcamp, another great opportunity for European entrepreneurs to get on the big-VC radar, has landed to Scandinavia. Applications are now open for Mini Seedcamp Sweden, being held in Helsingborg, Sweden, 5th May 2009, along with the helpseedcamp of Oresund Entrepreneurship Academy. The great people are especially looking for people from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway, but they encourage any startup from the EMEA to apply.

We will be at the Mini-Seedcamp following the event just as before and last year’s finalist Scred will be also there advising the new comers along. You can find Kristoffer’s (Scred) guest blogpost on last year’s SeedCamp here.

arcticeveningThirdly, we are heading to Stockholm Sweden next week for our 6th pan-regional ArcticEvening. We build ArcticEvening to be a place where not only everybody at the local startup scene meets each other, but also meets people from other locations across the region. ArcticEvenings bring everybody together to discuss new ideas, experiences, challenges and developments and above all share knowledge and make those important connections in the Nordic and Baltic startup community. Hope to see you in Stockholm next week!
