Norwegian Plaace secures €885K in funding for Nordic expansion in proptech sector

Plaace, an Oslo-based proptech company, recently secured €885k in funding. The investment was led by RunwayFBU, with participation from existing investors OBOS and Blommenholm Industrier, and support from Innovation Norway. Plaace specializes in providing data and analytics solutions for Commercial Real Estate companies, Retailers, and CRE Brokers, helping them define strategies, match with locations and tenants, and collaborate effectively. The funding will be used to support the company’s commercial scaling efforts in the Nordic region, strengthen its market presence, and expand its customer base.

Founded in 2020, Plaace specializes in providing data and analytics solutions for Commercial Real Estate companies, Retailers, and CRE Brokers. Plaace’s platform helps clients define strategies, match with locations and tenants, and collaborate effectively, unlocking the full potential of commercial properties. The company has experienced rapid growth, tripling its revenue in 2023 and securing contracts with 50 paying customers, including notable players like KLP Eiendom, Elkjøp, Norli, and Europris. Plaace is strategically positioned to capitalize on the increasing demand for data-driven solutions in the retail industry and is committed to creating vibrant and thriving urban environments through its innovative approach.
