Finnish HR software startup Apped and the top Nordic IT services firm Tieto have agreed to research and develop offerings related to cloud and B2B mobile apps.
“Our ambition is to reinvent B2B mobility. We have an innovative platform and with the delivery capability and industry knowledge from Tieto we can together be the true frontrunners in the industry,” Peter Lindberg, CEO of Apped, said in a statement.
The startup’s first applications let the corporate decision-makers monitor employee’s satisfaction real-time – whether it’s the quality of coffee or critical processes. It has raised around half a million euros of seed funding so far.
“The co-operation focuses on distributing our apps to Tieto’s cloud clients, and on using our integration platform for Tieto’s clients B2B mobile projects,” Lindberg said.
Apped expects to get access to Tieto’s deep industry knowledge while it brings startup’s agility into the co-operation. “The co-operation will enable fast roll-outs for new technology as the innovative new platform is combined with deep industry knowledge,” said Ville Tawaststjerna, Solution Manager for Collaboration at Tieto.
