Swedish Competencer Raises Funding

Swedish advisory platform Competencer has raised 3 million Swedish crowns seed funding from a group of known Swedish investors to boost its sales and marketing efforts.

Competencer is a platform connecting individuals with selected advisors in health, lifestyle and personal development to improve mental and physical health.

The startup said investors include Klarna-founder Niklas Adalberth, as well as RECAPEX team Niklas Eklund, Johan Siwers and Christopher Persson, alongside with Stockholm Affärsänglar.

“To maintain a mental and physical health is increasingly challenging for the individual and this has an impact on the society at large. With Competencer we want to make it easier for people to receive the right support in time and make professional advice available for more people online,” Tove Toll, co-founder of Competencer, said in a statement.

Using the platform people can choose advisors with the right competence for their needs and get the help they require, regardless if it’s CBT therapy, career coaching or nutritional advice.

“Competencer has a unique product in advisory services connected to mental and physical health. We are extremely excited to be a strategic partner and we have high hopes for the company,” said Christopher Persson from RECAPEX.
