Tubecon Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to Go Global

Tubecon Oy, the organizer of the upcoming Tubecon Conference launched a crowdfunding campaign on Invesdor today. The campaign aims to raise money for international expansion and internationalizing its operations.

Tubecon is a modern Finnish export product”, said Tubecon CEO Risto Kuulasmaa. “Successful events in Finland, Sweden and Spain have taken our concept to the international level. Our goal is to expand to at least five new countries in the next year and establish a Europe-wide network while expanding into a multi-platform media business.

Tubecon conference brings together Youtube influencers, fans and brands to explore the opportunities in Youtube and video marketing. The event offers an excellent opportunity to reach millennials and young audiences. Last year Tubecon Finland, annually held at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, attracted 19,000 visitors, and this year they aim for more.

Tubecon differentiates itself from others with its licensing model. The way it works is that anyone who wants to organize the event locally acquires a license and receives assistance from Tubecon’s professionals in terms of event organization. Tubecon’s representatives will also help out to engage with local YouTube community. The licensing model enables rapid international growth, network creating as well as international sponsorship agreements.

Reaching a turnover of EUR 600,000 last year, Tubecon Oy is led by a number of industry experts. The company management has solid experience in the media industry, international formats and licensing.

Tubecon has all it takes to become an international success. We are currently negotiating with multiple partner candidates. Now, the crowdfunding campaign presents everyone of age the opportunity to be part of the company’s growth story”, said Kuulasmaa.
