This investment came from notable investors like North Ventures, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark, and several experienced business angels including Vagn Ove Soerensen, Torben Wind, Klaus Holse, Barbara Taudorf Andersen, Nicolaj Reffstrup (Look Up Ventures) and many more. Seasony’s main goal is to bring the efficiency of mobile robotics, commonly seen in Amazon warehouses, into the realm of indoor agriculture. They plan to use this funding to speed up their product development and expand their market reach, particularly targeting key regions like the Middle East and North America. Ultimately, Seasony aims to transform indoor farming by making it more scalable, profitable, and environmentally sustainable through the application of cutting-edge robotics technology.
Created by three friends, Erkan (COO), Servet (CTIO), and Christopher (CEO), Seasony specializes in the development and implementation of mobile robotics technology tailored specifically for indoor farming. Their primary product, named “Watney,” is an autonomous mobile robot designed to streamline and automate various tasks within vertical farming environments. This technology aims to optimize the cultivation process by efficiently moving plant trays, analyzing detailed plant data, and creating ideal growth conditions. Seasony operates under a ‘Robotics-as-a-service’ model, providing growers with valuable insights and cost-effective automation solutions to enhance the scalability, profitability, and sustainability of indoor farming operations.
