Proemial, an AI startup based in Aarhus, recently secured €2 million in funding co-led by People Ventures and Dreamcraft Ventures, and supported by angel investors and advisors from influential tech companies such as Apple, Google, and Meta including academic luminary Serge Belongie from The Pioneer Centre for AI in Copenhagen. Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon, served as and advisor. The company specializes in an open platform that employs advanced AI to create personalized summaries of the latest research papers, aiming to connect researchers with a broader audience. Proemial intends to utilize the funding to further develop and enhance their platform, leveraging cutting-edge AI and proprietary models to summarize, explain, and facilitate discussions around research papers, ultimately democratizing research and fostering greater engagement in open science initiatives.
