The funding round was led by Sondo Capital, with contributions from CTO Roundtable Invest, Tiny.vc, The Nordic Web Ventures, and angel investors from well-known Norwegian tech companies like Oda, Sanity, Ardoq, Enode, Scrimba, and Tise. Midio’s platform aims to bridge the gap between low-code tools’ accessibility and the flexibility of general-purpose programming languages. The company plans to use the funding to enhance its platform’s technical depth and speed, especially in areas like third-party service integration and handling unique use-cases.

Midio CTO Kristian Hasselknippe says to Tech.eu, “When we ran a tech agency, quickly prototyping to explore problems together with clients was crucial. We tried many low-code tools but never managed to get past the prototyping stage. Midio was born from this need — a tool that’s fast and high-level yet has the technical depth experienced developers require.”
