Tallinn-based electric superbike startup Verge Motorcycles is propelling its international expansion forward by enlisting the seasoned expertise of Mark Wilson as the new Chief Financial Officer. Drawing from his extensive automotive background, which includes leadership roles at Aston Martin Lagonda Plc and McLaren Automotive, Wilson’s appointment comes as Verge embarks on penetrating the US market and beyond. Despite economic challenges, Verge’s electric motorcycles have ignited global investor interest, and Wilson’s strategic insight, coupled with his prior advisory role, positions the company for dynamic growth. With a strong order book and plans to amplify delivery capacity through forthcoming funding rounds, Verge Motorcycles aims to assert its dominance in the electric superbike sector under Wilson’s financial stewardship.

“Verge’s unique innovation, state-of-the-art design and ambitious vision is attracting enormous interest amongst international investors despite the challenging economic environment. This is a pivotal moment for the Company as it scales up to meet growing customer demand globally. With an order book running well into next year Verge is primed to exert leadership in the electric superbike category. I’m thrilled to join such an exciting and dynamic business,” says Wilson, who has served as an advisor on the Verge Motorcycles Advisory Board since March.

Verge Motorcycles manufactures the world’s most advanced electric motorcycles and has invested heavily in product development to secure its place as the pioneer of electric riding.

“Mark Wilson’s strong expertise and long experience in the auto industry is extremely valuable to Verge, especially at this stage of our growth. The company’s order book is growing at an accelerating pace, and with the help of future funding rounds, the company intends to ensure that delivery capacity is increased to meet the demand. Mark has unparalleled experience in all of these areas. The company is now entering a new era,” says Marko Lehtimäki, Chief Technology Officer at Verge.
