MANTLE, a skincare company based in Stockholm, has secured a £2.4 million investment round led by Venrex, a British venture capital firm. This funding, along with previous investments, totals £6.9 million. The company, founded by Josefin Landgård in 2020, focuses on creating clean and effective skincare products using innovative ingredients. Mantle, led by a predominantly female team, aims to change the beauty industry’s narrative. With this investment, Mantle plans to expand its presence in Europe, particularly in the UK, where it has already gained traction, and to enter new markets like the US, Germany, and the Netherlands. Additionally, the funding will support Mantle’s research and product development efforts conducted in its lab in Sweden.
