A new reward-based crowdfunding platform, which accepts digital currencies, was launched on Saturday at Crowdfunding Leadership Event in Stockholm.
The new platform LEOcrowd – which headquarter will be in London – was born from an online business training company Learning Enterprises Organisation Ltd, which has presence in 140 countries.
More interestingly it facilitates payment through digital currencies such as Bitcoin or LEOcoin.
“Access to digital currency fundraising will enable projects to be more global and help strip down financial barriers typically in place when raising capital internationally,” it said in a statement.
On Saturday the first projects had opened on the page, but there were no “investments” made yet.
