As a software quality assurance manager you will be a part of our visionary Product & Tech team of 250+ people, with ambitious plans to grow. We are organised into cross-functional teams, with software engineers working closely with product management, UX & design, data & insight and infrastructure. Our software engineers work on everything from our customer experience to controlling robots in our complex logistics operation. We have a strong focus on raising the bar within our various areas of expertise, and software engineering is no exception.
You will be instrumental in ensuring that we are able to provide a world-class, high quality software platform for our operations. You will be the first member of your discipline and will be instrumental in executing software quality assurance at scale in the company.

What you’ll do as Software Quality Assurance Manager with us

    • Build a QA team: We take a long-term view on building a great organization, and have high ambitions of being the best place to work in Norway for people in product & tech looking for impact and exciting challenges. You attract, recruit and onboard talent to a team that will support the organisation in their QA efforts.
    • Put quality assurance on the agenda: You will be responsible for setting expectations, mission and vision of our software quality assurance efforts.
    • Raise the bar in software quality assurance: You make sure we have a modern, iterative, non-intrusive, highly automated approach to software quality assurance.
    • Contribute. You’re not just a manager and bar-raiser, you also spend time with or in our product teams solving real problems and supporting people in their efforts to build their own skillset in your field.
    • Give back and share: You make sure we actively share learning and opinions via our blog on Medium, talks and other relevant forums, and in particular around software quality assurance.

    • Have passion for delivering high quality products, systems and teams
    • Know how to best organise test and QA engineers: embedded, central, hybrid — you’ve tried different models and know what works and when
    • Love the combination of being hands-on while thinking big, complex and long-term about what to do
    • Are pragmatic when needed, and enjoy a dynamic everyday life where priorities and needs change

The following will probably be helpful

    • Have 3+ years of experience as software quality assurance and leadership in a modern product & tech company
    • You have a proven track record of attracting and recruiting engineers, and enabling them to be great
