We’re hiring! We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer and a Sales Manager to join our team.

About the job

SES-X Marine Technologies develops the electric boats of the future. Our unique technology based on airbag principle, reduces the boat’s energy needs, and enables electric boats with high speed and long range. The company has recently closed an issue round and is now looking for a sales manager to bring the technology to market.

We are now looking for an experienced person who will work with sales to customers nationally and internationally. You will have an important role in preparing the sales strategy, as well as having total responsibility for the entire sales process from initial customer contact to implementation of sales and customer follow-up. The role will involve close collaboration with the technical department in connection with the sales process. Previous experience from sales in similar companies and roles is beneficial.

Your tasks will include:

Develop sales strategy and define sales objectives in collaboration with management

Establish internal sales processes to achieve the company’s sales goals

Map potential customer groups and establish new customer relationships

Work with pricing strategy in collaboration with other functions

Responsibility for contract negotiations and implementation of sales

Responsibility for a robust after-sales process and follow-up of customers

Be continuously updated on market movements, customer relationships, product-specific conditions (including technical specifications)

Organize and attend relevant events and fairs

You will have a great opportunity to help shape the role, and exact work tasks will depend somewhat on your profile and area of ​​interest.

We want you to have the following qualifications / qualities:

+ 2 years experience from similar role in technology companies or from the maritime industry

Customer-oriented and good at building relationships

Results-oriented with a great will to persevere

Good communication skills both in writing and orally in Norwegian and English

Interest in boats and new technology

Have the opportunity to travel for work

Bonus Qualifications:

Boat driver’s license, preferably D5L
