Home delivery from Norway's largest grocery store

Oda is a company on the move. We built Norway’s leading online grocery store and now we want to share what we’ve created with the world! Delivering a huge range of high-quality, affordable groceries and fresh produce to millions of doorsteps is a complex process, but we believe we’ve cracked the code. Using data-driven methodology, with a focus on sustainability all the way along the chain, we are building the most efficient retail system in the world. With solid backing from some of the biggest international investors in the world, we’re proud to be one of the fastest growing companies in Europe.

The talent & learning team in Oda is looking for students who would like to work project based with film production. You will support the Talent & Learning team to produce content to train and develop our most important asset – our people! In the spirit of learning, we would first and foremost love to offer this opportunity to someone early in their film career. We will not evaluate professional agencies in this round.

What you’ll do as film production crew with us 🎦

As we prepare for exponential growth in Norway, Finland and Germany, we are moving fast to become smarter and more digital in how we train our employees. We aim to build learning content that boosts learning and that engages our employees. We want learning to be fun! We are looking for a film crew who can help us with pre-production, production and post-production of video content to be used in onboarding and training and continuous learning, mainly for our drivers and operators (the people who magically help groceries find their way in to the Oda boxes)! The films will be short and many, rather than few and long, as we will implement micro learning and continuous learning in our methodology.

What we offer 🚀

    • A project based or temporary employment with Oda in Norway, or freelance work, if you already have the necessary setup for that.
    • Payment either hourly or based on projects – We’ll discuss!
    • The opportunity to apply your knowledge about film production in a professional setting.
    • The chance to impact the growth and success of a Norwegian unicorn!
    • The chance to lend equipment from Oda, or to use your own, based on your preference and need.

To be successful, we believe you…

      • You don’t have to speak Norwegian, but we do expect you to be fluent in English and be able to work on site in Lørenskog, Lier and/or Nydalen for filming and meetings.
We pride ourselves on creating a learning culture based on collaboration and empathy. We are looking for someone in early in their film career, and as a part of that, we are prepared to work closely with you and set you up for success. We are a team of teams, and we win together 💪🏼
To succeed in this project, we are looking for someone who will help us to translate learning needs in to video. In order to account for our four languages (English, Norwegian, German and Finnish), the videos will focus on actions and processes, and we’ll add voice overs in local languages in post-production. Angles, precision and visibility of the critical learning content will be more important than creative techniques.
We are open to applications as individuals or as a crew. As a crew, you should have capabilities related to pre-production, production and post-production within the same team. Recording audio and adding voice overs is a part of the requirements to post-production. You must be open to working with members outside your team, if we see that we will need more capacity. If you apply as an individual, you should specify which of the mentioned areas you are strongest in.

The following will probably be helpful 💡

      • Previous experience in pre-production, production and/or post production of video and voice over audio. Either paid, through school or hobby projects.
      • Having studied or being self-learned in film and film production.
      • Knowledge about basic use of natural and artificial light sources.
      • Ability to maintain the business perspective in your decision making
      • The courage to be an advisor and trusted partner to the talent & learning team
      • Availability now, and throughout the next months. Hours per week can be discussed.
We’d love it if your application contains some of your previous work!
