Swedish next-gen vulnerability management platform secures €4M to help protect more companies from cybercrime

Stockholm-based startup Holm Security has raised €4 million in a funding round led by Subvenio Invest, Swedish venture capital firm investing in rapidly growing B2B software companies. The startup delivers unparalleled 360-degree coverage and comprehensive insight to enable users to detect vulnerabilities, assess risk, and prioritize remediation for every asset across their entire organization. With the funding, Holm Security will be able to further with the development of its next-gen vulnerability management platform.

Holm Security was founded in 2015 by Jens Larsson, Rickard Vikström, Victor Jerlin and Stefan Thelberg to become one of the leading companies in vulnerability management and help its customers eliminate possible risks theirs business with a cyber-defense strategy. The startup’s technology also includes human firewall to minimize the attacks compared to traditional ones.

Subvenio Invest is a leading venture capital firm investing in rapidly growing B2B software companies along with its network of independent investors. The team has to date invested in 15 companies, including Learnster, Skyqraft, BoardClic and IamIP.

The funding round follows Holm Security’s recent success at the Red Herring Global awards, recognizing the organization as one of the top 100 global start-ups across North America, Asia, and Europe. The Red Herring judging panel selected Holm Security over other leading private companies as a result of the vision, drive, and innovation demonstrated by the Swedish-based organization, which represented one of only thirteen cyber security providers on the list.

The investment received from the funding round will be used to build off the back of the award success and help Holm Security continue to grow as a leading cyber security specialist.
