Stockholm-based FoodFacts is recruiting Alexandra Ferreira as the new CEO. The company provides accessible, transparent and personalised food data for people who want to make better food choices for the planet, society and their own health. Alexandra will contribute to the company’s growth with the help of her experiences in in business development and strategic marketing. Erik Strandin Pers will continue to work as CFO and chairman.
FoodFacts is recruiting a new CEO and passing a milestone with over 22,500 indexed foods
FoodFacts’ mission is to help millions of consumers eat more sustainably and healthily thanks to better food data. Today they celebrate a milestone and a new recruitment.
FoodFacts has built the most advanced cloud platform for structuring and enriching data for food on the Swedish market. Over 22,500 products have so far been interpreted at the ingredient level, indexed and enriched, making them available for searches and calculations in various digital solutions, for example in e-commerce, automated sustainability calculations and various mobile services. Now the company is taking the next step with the recruitment of Alexandra Ferreira as the new CEO.

Alexandra is an expert in business development and strategic marketing with a passion for digital solutions in sustainability. After an international career starting in France and Spain in several sectors such as retail, transport, FMCG and the public sector, she has lived in Sweden for 14 years with, among other things, several roles at Oriflame. She then started her own consulting business and has helped young technology companies and scale-ups to grow and develop outside their home market.

Alexandra will be part of a management team with extensive experience from the consumer sector, and will lead a tech team with developers and data scientists and a team of data analysts. Erik Strandin Pers will continue to work as CFO and chairman.
