The Women Of Arctic15

Ada Lovelace, Margaret Thatcher, Valentina Tereshkova. What do these women have in common? All three were great examples of how a woman can break through and turn upside down male-dominated industries like science, politics, space.

If you were at Arctic15 before, you probably know how much sympathy and appreciation we have towards female founders and overall women in tech. Two years ago we were able to reach the goal of 50-50 gender ratio in speakers Arctic15. Last year we hosted such wonderful ladies as, Pia Santavirta, Managing Director at the Finnish Venture Capital Association (FVCA), Marta Sjogren, Investor at Northzone and Hala Zeine, Senior Vice President of SAP Portfolio and Commercialization Strategy, just to mention a few.

This year is not an exception. In fact, the female theme is stronger than ever since our ArcticStartup Events Director Taru Ryske takes the lead of Arctic15.

As today is International Women’s Day, we would like to introduce you to women you are guaranteed to meet Arctic15 this May. Without further ado welcome:
