Vilnius-Based StartupHighway Graduates Four Teams At London Demoday

StartupHighway just had their Demoday in London, in partnership with Huge Thing, a Polish accelerator. We’ve covered the Vilnius, Lithuania-based accelerator in the past, but if you’re unfamiliar with it, the basic number are it’s a 13 week accelerator that provides €14 000 of funding. During past 12 months StartupHighway has accelerated 10 companies. Half of the startups from their 2011 batch received funding after graduating.

Rokas Tamosiunas, co-founder of StartupHighway, said there was plenty of interest in seeing what the CEE region can cook up. “This was a very positive experience for us. We were positively surprised by the attendance both of top investors and of top media. London is full of next-stage opportunities and I believe it’s the right place for our startups to network now, we have high expectations both for our 2012 graduates and for the outcomes of this event today.”

Four Startup Highway teams pitched in London.

Several interesting teams were also pitching from Huge Thing, the Polish accelerator. More information about those companies can be found here.
