THINK Accelerate Celebrates 5 Years Anniversary

Helsingborg-based THINK, a startup accelerator for early stage technology companies is turning 5 years old. On this occasion, the company published infographics that demonstrates its achievements over the 5-year period. 85% of all startups accepted in the THINK program is still active, and 65% have received funding. Collectively THINK Startups have raised over 50m SEK (5,2m euros) and are redefining industries such as construction, auto, law, finance, e-commerce and more. With the previous batch graduated earlier this spring, THINK is now open for another batch of startups.

Accepted startups will join a 3 months global accelerator program with an international mentor network, workshops led by industry experts, tailored coaching, introductions to investors, free office space and access to products with a value of over $300,000 from Google, Microsoft, IBM and Amazon, Stripe, Hubspot, Trello and much more. The program is free and startups retain 100% of the equity in their company. Besides that, the THINK also collaborates with leading VC firms from the region including Creandum, Northzone, EQT Ventures, Industrifonden and more.

In this batch, THINK wil lrun 2 programs, THINK Accelerate and THINK Smart.

THINK Accelerate is focused on Saas, B2C Saas, B2B Saas, Enterprise Saas, Paas, e-commerce, fintech, e-sports, healthtech, deep tech, VR, AR, AI.

THINK Smart will focus on the smart city start-ups, developing solutions around urban planning, waste management, smart building, smart home, smart mobility, smart grid, smart energy, smart production, smart government and open data. Microsoft, IBM and Amazon Web Services will provide their knowledge and mentorship to the THINK startups. The idea behind the smart city track lays down in The H+ ‘smart city’ project. The H+ is one of the largest construction projects ever undertaken in Sweden, building schools, offices, shops and 4–5,000 new homes by the year 2035 to meet the demand of over 40,000 people who will move into the city in that time. This project aims to be a model for future urban development and will radically transform the southern parts of Helsingborg.
