TechChill Baltics on Feb 10: pitch slots and booths available

TechChill Baltics 2015 on Feb 10 has opened applications to pitch slots and startup booths. TechChill Baltics is an annual conference organised by TechHub Riga. Much like November Slush in Finland, TechChill welcomes startup folks to the Baltics in chilly February, when there is otherwise nothing much to do here. Last year there were more than 350 people attending, 48% of them startups, 12% – investors, and 13% – digital/media agencies and press. You can check what last year’s event was like here.

TechChill Baltics positions itself as Baltic region’s most content-driven conference and their speaker lineup does live up to the promise. This year’s event focuses on startup operations and growth giving stage to people like program leader at TechStars London and co-founder of F6S startup network Jon BradfordHAILO taxi app’s George Berkowski and ex-CEO of Seatwave and COO of Match.com Joe Cohen.

Application to TechChill Baltics annual pitch contest is now open here, closing on Jan 26. If previous winners’ results are any indicator, then this is definitely worth a shot. Last year’s winner TrackDuck closed a 275,000$ investment round right after winning the pitch contest and the first pitch contest winner Infogr.am has raised 1.55$ million and is now buying other startups.

There are startup booths available as well. However, there is only 9 of them, so it is a good idea to act quick. Each booth gives you a workspace, access to WiFi, power and 2 free startup tickets to TechChill Baltics.

There are 2 types of booths: 5 Hall booths (350€) on the first floor closer to the presentations/discussions area and 4 Chill zone booths (250€) on the second floor, closer to the networking area. You can order a booth by writing to [email protected].

ArcticStatup team will be there looking for interesting stories. The event will be also streamed online thanks to TechHub Riga strategic partner Lattelecom. While waiting for February 10, here are some tweets from previous #TechChill Baltics to keep you tuned:
