Swedish startup Wndy aims to help small business owners deal with personnel management. The company has built a platform that will connect entrepreneurs with experienced HR professionals.

Co-founder Daniel Eriksson says that he has had to struggle a lot with personnel issues over the years. First as sales manager at Metro and later at celebrity agency P-Agency, which he founded. Eriksson explains that hiring a senior HR consultant is too much hassle for small businesses, that’s where Wndy comes in.Wndy’s solution to the problem is a web platform where companies can book video meetings or chat with experienced HR consultants.

The company charges partly with a subscription fee, and in addition, the calls themselves cost SEK 600 per half hour.

“ There are lots of services out there but they are not adapted for companies with 10-49 employees, the definition of small business owners. As a small business owner, I want to get in touch with a knowledgeable person to play ball, but then I handle the situation myself based on the advice I have received, ”says Daniel Eriksson. Among the typical things that companies need help with, he mentions guidance before recruitment, employment contracts, pension issues and difficult conversations with employees.

The company is now raising SEK 3.5 million in capital at a valuation of SEK 23.5 million, after the capital injection.

Wndy was founded in the beginning of 2021 and will be launched in full later this autumn. The new funds to be used to hire more staff and reach more customers.
