Pivot5 Joins Industryhack To Build Global Community Of Solvers

When you think of Valentine’s Day you probably think of roses, chocolates, and postcards sealed with a kiss – but not in Finland. In Finland, February 14th is not really a romantic holiday. It’s about friendship and connections. Thus, on this Valentine’s Day, and we are bringing you a story of the new “match” in Finnish startup ecosystem.

Industryhuck team grew with two brightest stars in Finnish startup ecosystem. Pivot5 co-founders Inka Mero and Harry Santamäki, both serial entrepreneurs and startup investors joined Industryhack as board members.

The upgraded team has a vision is to become the platform for a global community of solvers and it has all means to make it happen. In 3 years Industryhack has grown to a team of 12 people, served 25% of Finnish large companies, and expanded its operations to Sweden, Germany, Estonia, and Japan across 500 technology companies without any external funding. Plus, the team demonstrated 850,000 euros in turnover last year.

Industryhack will be helping large companies and public organizations solve their challenges through open innovation strategy, innovation challenges, long-term open innovation programs, and corporate startup lab. These challenges may relate to many new things our corporate clients are struggling with, such as the environment, operational efficiency, new data-driven business or digital customer relevancy. Corporates like Siemens, Ponsse, Fortum, Telia, Airbus, and Kone has already used Industryhack services, and the team aims to accomplish much more in the years to come.
