An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Nightingale, a Helsinki-based biomed company helps people to stay healthy through its unique blood analysis method.
Nightingale provides health data from blood biomarker analysis, assisting clinicians in providing more personalized guidance to patients. Founded in 2013 Nightingale has got customers in 26 countries, grew its team to 29 employees, analysed nearly 500 000 samples estimated revenue 1.5M€ to date.
The company has been shortlisted for the Most Innovative European Biotech SME Awards 2017 in the “Healthcare Biotech” category. This is not the first award. Earlier this year Nightingale was selected as an official MIT Solver in the Chronic Diseases category.
The company’s CEO Teemu Suna told that in the future they plan to fully integrate the service into healthcare systems thus, enabling preventive healthcare for chronic diseases, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
