In the Nordics we are known for innovative mindset, but sometimes one cannot help to wonder whether there is really demand for some of these products?
Husqvarna, a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products, said on Friday it has launched the first Apple Watch app for robotic lawn mowers. The app allows users to mow their lawn from the wrist via Apple Watch whether they are at work or on vacation.
“As the pioneer in robotic mowner 21 years ago, we have been pushing the technological frontier ever since. With Automower Connect for Apple Watch, we take the user experience to yet another level and strengthens its innovation lead in the growing robotic mower market,” says Olle Markusson, robotic category manager at Husqvarna.
The app is free of charge, but only working with the company’s own robotic lawnmower – which is available in three different models.
So parents who like to delegate taking care of the lawn to the kids, maybe it’s time to have fun with technology?
