Leaddesk raises €5.5 Million Series A

We’ve been following the buildup of Helsinki-based Leaddesk for some time now. Starting in 2010 by building modern software for European call centers they’ve seen good growth by building cloud-based callcenter services focused on the needs for salespeople to get deals done over the phone. After seeing after seeing over 1,000% growth back in 2013, they’ve now raised their first round, a €5.5 million Series A led by Dawn Capital as well as participation by Finnish Industry Investment.

Out of Europe’s one million call agents, Leaddesk has hit 5,000 agents in more than 15 countries, who make more than 3 million calls per week in verticals, including finance, media, healthcare, publishing and energy.

Most of Leaddesk’s growth has come from the Nordics, as well as the UK, Ireland, Spain, and the Benelux countries. According to the company the European call center industry has diverse local market conditions, regulatory frameworks and sales cultures, and they’ll use this funding round to continue their expansion across the continent.

Their cloud-based services are advertised as easy to plug and play into any platform and telephony, as well as offer Compliance-as-a-Service in order to stay on top of rules and regulations. Since 2010 they’ve also built up an ecosystem around their product by plugging into your favorite CRM or ERP systems, while also allowing application providers, consultants and distributors to plug into Leaddesk though the LeadPro partner network.

“We have built great infrastructure to effectively and locally serve our customers from the cloud. Our team has a great attitude and we have excellent partners in place to drive our business forward,”
