Tictail raises the largest publicly disclosed B funding round from the Nordics since Supercell in 2013.

We have been big fans of Tictail for a long time and were watching closely as they went head-to-head with the likes of Shopify, who have raised over $100 million in funding and did an IPO in May this year.

Today, according to Tech.eu, the company raised an additional $22 million, bringing the total amount raised to over $32 million. This is yet another win for #NordicMade. Here is our look at the company since 2011:

2011: Tictail announced as Tumblr for E-Commerce.

2012: Tictail Raises Funding.

2012: Launch results in 14% weekly growth.

2013: 10,000 brands in 10 months.

2013: Tictail starts localizing in Sweden.

2013: Launches developer platform for monitzation. 23,000 brands.

2014: Tictail raises Series A. 35,000 brands.

2015: Raises Series B led by Creandum, Balderton, Thrive Capital and Acton Capital. Announces 85,000 brands.

We hope to hear more news from Tictail in the future and to see them join the Unicorn club.
