Swedish smart asset platform raises a $7M seed round

Kive

Stockholm-headquartered startup Kive has raised $7 million in a seed round led by Heartcore Capital with participation from EQT Ventures, CREANDUM, Intercom Cofounder Des Traynor and VEED.IO Cofounder Sabba Keynejad. Kive’s AI-powered platform helps creatives and creative teams find inspiration, collaborate on ideas and share them with the rest of the world in a friction-free workflow.

The founder of Kive Olof Lindh is a film director represented by ICONOCLAST and B-Reel Films. He built the platform by himself and now ready to be surrounded by a team which means the startup will use the funding to hire some talents.

Kive is an intuitive cloud-based visual library built for creatives and creative teams. Through the application of AI and machine learning technology it allows users to build, share and collaborate in a seamless and organized way.

Gone are the days where creatives are constantly facing time consuming pain points that come with a fragmented workflow – the 10,000+ person waitlist for access to the Kive platform is an indicator of just how underserved this costumer segment has historically been.

”The creator economy is an important focus for Heartcore, and we think the size of the industry is largely underestimated. Kive is on track to become the ultimate one-stop shop for creative processes, from inspiration through to presentation. We were truly impressed by Olof and his team – they’ve built a product that is deeply user-focused, and the strong engagement metrics are a testament to that.” says Levin Bunz, Partner at Heartcore Capital.
