Just like the deep cold of winter, TechChill Baltics is not far away

TechChill is back for the third time and gearing up to be a great day, and that’s not just because we’re going to be there.

The tech startup conference takes place on the 13th February in the capital of Latvia, Riga, and this time the focus is all about getting ready to go to market. Along with the usual crowd of Baltic and European tech people, start-ups and VC’s there’ll be a number of speakers including Collete Ballou from Ballou PR, Shira Abel CEO of Hunter & Bard and our very own Dmitri Sarle, so we have to go and cover the event or he’ll get upset.

Not only will there be presentations and discussions on PR, marketing, sales and media communication, afterwards there will be a pitching competition which has been a highlight of the event in previous years and has seen Infogram and BliuBliu come out on top. The application for this is still open so visit here if you would like to try and be one of the top 5 startups selected to pitch to the event’s jury and live audience.

You can still pick up tickets at the early bird discount prices, although this ends on the 15th January so you better be quick if you want to save some money and click this link.

The day before, 12th February for those trying to keeping track, will feature a Mini Seedcamp, which you can apply for here, applications close on 27th January. There will also be workshops for startups running on the same day, one of which is a “Lean Camp” lead by Rob Fitzpatrick author of “The Mom Test” and seems to be something that the organisers of the TechChill event are particularly excited about.

Go to network, go to drink some good beer, go to see the city or go to learn. There’s going to be a lot happening over the two days and we hope to see you there. Did I mention the outdoor sauna at the evening party? I’m sure I wouldn’t forget that.
