Home delivery from Norway's largest grocery store

Oda is a company on the move. We built Norway’s leading online grocery store and now we want to share what we’ve created with the world! Delivering a huge range of high-quality, affordable groceries and fresh produce to millions of doorsteps is a complex process, but we believe we’ve cracked the code. Using data-driven methodology, with a focus on sustainability all the way along the chain, we are building the most efficient retail system in the world. With solid backing from some of the biggest international investors in the world, we’re proud to be one of the fastest growing companies in Europe.

At Oda, we work cross functionally, think Dev(Sec)Ops. As we continue the shift left movement, we want to keep quality assurance and automation high on the agenda for all teams, but also enable and support our developers to consistently deliver high quality. This is because we believe quality is one of the make or break areas for our future growth and entry to new markets. Going forward, we will be establishing a QA team together with a Test Automation team, who will serve as the subject matter experts and lighthouse for evangelising software quality and automation at Oda. We want to do this right from the get-go, which is why we need your expertise. Working as an engineer in the Test Automation team, you will be a part of creating and implementing our ways of working, building a solid foundation for test and automation and rotating as a visiting expert in our cross-functional teams, to teach, coach and encourage.

What you’ll do as Test Automation Engineer with us 🤸🏽

Support our quality assurance efforts 🗓 You will be responsible for supporting the success of our software quality assurance efforts by increasing our level of automation and coverage in testing. And drive the discipline of test automation in a shift left fashion. Where the end goal is to leave the teams capable of meeting their own quality goals.

Raise the bar in software quality assurance 🚀 You make sure we have a modern, iterative, non-intrusive, highly automated approach to software quality assurance.

Contribute 💻 You’re not just a bar-raiser, you also spend time with or in our product teams solving real problems and supporting people in their efforts to build their own skillset in your field.

Give back and share 📣 Sharing is caring! As a Test Automation Engineer you’ll make sure that we share our thoughts on software development in various ways; f.eks. via our blog on Medium (check it out!), talks and other relevant forums.
