About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead with a deep understanding of Cloud Native / Kubernetes tech stacks to help us in mastering our large scale container platform for AlphaSense in-house workloads.
In this role you will join the Cloud Platform team responsible for:
- providing scaleable, reliable, and secure container runtime for AlphaSense developer teams
- renewal of the tech stacks utilizing state-of-the-art technologies
- supporting the developer teams to produce high quality and maintainable applications and services in an efficient way
- architecting and provisioning common solutions and services
In your every-day activities, you’ll make use of open source tools, automation, and Cloud-Native solutions, tweaking, expanding and even creating new tools and flows, to empower our organisation and its engineers to better serve our customers. We will pair you up with world-class talent in cloud and software engineering and provide you with a position and environment for continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Cloud Native / Kubernetes tech stacks
- Solid knowledge of Micro-services architecture patterns
- Strong experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language (preferable on Go)
- Ample experience building highly automated infrastructures
- Good understanding of modern development and operations processes and methodologies
- Years of experience in Docker and containers orchestration
- Experience working with Agile Methodologies (Scrum)
- Experience with GitOps principles
- Experience in developing and releasing Helm Charts or Kustomize packages
- Experience in working with immutable infrastructure and IaC principles
- Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting solutions using AWS or GCP or Azure
- Experience with Terraform at scale and module development/testing
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure is a plus
- Experience with Prometheus, FluentD, Grafana, AgroCD, CrossPlane, Linkerd.
