Gobi helps businesses share more video by making it easy to implement video in the story format on the web.

We are now looking for a software developer for our sales team to help us grow faster. This by building new tools to increase our efficiency, technically support customers, and to better analyse our processes.

We make it possible for businesses to share videos in the story format on their websites – without the need of any coding. This tremendously lowers the threshold for a company to produce video and enables their website visitors to more easily find the right information when needed. Whether it’s about the product, service or career opportunities.

The selected individual will be responsible for:

  • Optimizing the sales processes.
  • Automating tasks and connecting systems.
  • Building integrations for third party platforms.
  • Providing technical customer support.
  • Providing data to the team through ad-hoc queries or analytic tools.
  • Creating prototypes for new product features or tools.
  • Supporting the day-to-day needs of the team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Works independently and defines their own tasks.
  • Appreciates scalable solutions and is always looking for improvements.
  • Is happy to work with a wide range of technologies, and can easily learn the basics of new ones.
  • Understands the perspective of customers and users in order to improve experience and reduce frustration.

Required experience and skills:

  • 2+ years of professional coding experience
  • Been responsible for multiple projects, professional or private.
  • Great familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3.
  • Experience using modern front-end frameworks like Vue, Angular or React.
  • An understanding of HTTP and the ability to structure APIs to be simple to consume and maintain.
  • An appreciation of using type and interface design, and composability to improve code quality, testability and cost of change.
  • Familiarity with git and task management to work within a team.

  • A key position in Gobi’s international expansion, with an energetic and passionate team.
  • Opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally.
  • A competitive salary and opportunities for equity.
  • An attractive office in Oslo with the opportunity to work remotely.
  • Fun and social activities, such as after work and tea room Thursday.

We’re an established supplier of the story-format to the B2B-market in the nordics, and our stories can be seen on the websites of several known brands. We are currently 10 full time and three part time employees and growing. The company has raised over USD 3M to build and commercialise the story player for websites, and is now intensifying growth outside of Norway. We just signed our first customers outside the nordics, and look forward to getting many more.
