What you’ll do – core responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and managing the processes to ensure smooth operations of strategic planning, project management, marketing and growth operations management, and overall marketing and growth best practice and excellence.

In this role you are responsible for defining the vision, strategies and objectives for marketing and growth collaboration within the growth and marketing function, between growth and other internal functions and between growth and entities outside the company. You will also define requirements for ideal collaboration related to all facets of growth and define a roadmap and a set of technologies, tools and frameworks to move toward the ideal state. On top of that, you would set qualitative and quantitative objectives to measure efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

As part of our growth team you will get exposure to a wide range of strategic and tactical issues across disciplines and different challenges related to growth marketing, product and market expansion and related organisational design and operations. You will be involved in exploring new ways of working, be part of shaping our growth strategy for the years ahead and take lead on defining and executing key strategic priorities for our growth and marketing teams. We work together, but also cross functional, and in most projects you will work closely with our Growth, Commercial, Strategy, Finance, Operations and Logistics and Product teams. A lot of your work will be project based, and you will be able to influence at some extent which projects to be involved in and responsible for, based on both your background and what makes you tick.

Typical tasks include

    • Enable our teams to fluidly work in a cross-functional, cross-departmental and global manner. Silos of any type (data, content, knowledge, processes) are our enemy. This means being in charge of establishing best possible internal communications with regards to growth and marketing plans, objectives, challenges and how we go about it.
    • Setting up the right processes and the running of smooth operations, for example to make sure that we have a clear 360-degree view of the internal customer, drawing from all touch points (growth, IT, customer service, strategy, etc.)
    • Define and implement best practice in terms of working with agile, growth science and lean start-up methodology
    • Change management. Growth and marketing environments are constantly changing so agility, flexibility and ability to learn are essential. For example you will:
    • help shaping and managing our internal upskilling programmes while ensuring applied learnings
    • define when to change, the why behind change, the communication and management of the acceptance curve of change
    • Data, Analytics And Content Are Key – you will ensure that we apply analytics to turn our data into information and actionable insights.
    • Establish Operational Metrics – You will define operational metrics that define the quality and efficiency of our work
    • Project management of key strategic projects/priorities; includes setting scope, problem solve, make plans, drive decision making and execution

You’ll need these qualifications

    • You have significant work experience from strategy and business development from a progressive consultancy firm and/or worked in marketing, growth or product operations in a high growth, fast paced global scale-up
    • You have significant experience with project management
    • You are structured as well as creative
    • You have some excellent communication and presentation skills and speak and write fluently in English
    • You master the Google Suite, Microsoft Office and Miro
