KARDS is that game, a digital collectible card game set in World War II. Fusing traditional card game elements with WWII thematics and strategy, Kards is an elegant, action-packed experience that stands apart within the genre.The company is well funded through its revenue from KARDS which is already released for PC on Steam and recent $5.3M funding to secure successful development and launch of the mobile version of KARDS and ongoing future development of the game. We are looking for an experienced game designer to work on Kards and future projects.

Here is what you will be doing with us:

  • Working as part of the development team, taking responsibility for features, systems, and content.
  • Design cards and functions in collaboration with other designers and developers.
  • Design and iterate on progression, matchmaking and rewards systems.
  • Design and iterate on alternative game modes and tournament features.

Required: 

  • Work closely with team members, communicating regularly.
  • Absolute passion for playing and making computer games and/or card games.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills; you can get the job done without close supervision.

Very much appreciated:

  • A can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills; you love collaborating with others to implement systems.
  • Long-term experience working as a game designer.
