We’re hiring! We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer and a Sales Manager to join our team.
SES-X Marine Technologies develops the electric boats of the future. Our unique SES (Surface Effect Ship) technology reduces the boat’s energy needs, enabling high-speed, long-range electric boats.
We are now looking for a motivated embedded software engineer who will help develop the next generation of electric boats. The software team is responsible for all software and electronics on the boats. We own the entire value chain from low-level control of sensors and actuators, intelligent algorithms that ensure energy efficiency, to land-based systems that enable us to monitor boats in real time and seamlessly send over-the-air updates. As part of the team, you will have a hands-on role in developing the next generation of electric boats!
We are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer. Your tasks will include:
Help create electric boats with superior range and speed
Development of robust software with high performance, which is critical for the boats to fly
Write, test and troubleshoot software and electronics both in the lab and on board our boats on the water
Design and implementation of complex state machines for our electric propulsion system
Contribute to the development of overall software and system architecture
Develop algorithms for controlling the boat’s air cushion system
Participate in developing internal processes for implementation, testing and rollout
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications:
Motivated and self-motivated with an interest in software, electronics and system development
0-5 years of relevant work experience
Master’s degree in electronics, software, computer technology, cybernetics or equivalent. Relevant industry experience in robotics, automotive, battery technology, maritime industry or embedded development can outweigh
Experience with one or more programming languages such as C ++, C, Python, Rust, Structured Text
Knowledge of electric propulsion systems
Experience with PCB design
Experience with C ++ and programming of microcontrollers
Knowledge of CANbus, I2C, SPI, UART and Ethernet
Knowledge of Linux, vxWorks, FreeRTOS or other real-time systems
Previous experience with the development of physical systems
Knowledge of Qt, React or other framework for HMI implementation
