Business Development Representative

Reports to: Business Development Manager

Due to the rapid expansion of Ardoq, we are looking for a cooperative and enthusiastic colleague with strong interpersonal skills and a natural curiosity about people, business and technology.

Our new colleague will be responsible for approaching and connecting with new prospective customers in their digital transformation journey. The Business Development Representative role could be your entry-level position within our Sales team.

It is an engagement role which involves introducing Ardoq to key figures at potential clients across our European markets. The position gives you the opportunity to learn sales, communication and could be the experience you need to grow your career into more senior roles in sales, marketing or other parts of our organization.

You will be a key figure in the commercial strategy of our European expansion and cooperate with potential customers to understand their needs. Driving a quality pipeline with the right clients and people involved is important for the team success, which is why sparring and support is key for the team and your role.

You will be part of strengthening an inspiring company with an increasing global presence, joining an exciting journey with an international and diverse team. While supporting leading, international companies in defining and shaping their future digital strategies, you will contribute to Ardoq’s commercial development working from our office in Copenhagen.

You will be part of an inclusive and collaborative and growing team of 14 loyal colleagues who support each other on a daily basis. Furthermore, the team is supported by a Marketing Division supplying content and lead generation.

As our colleague, you will pre-qualify leads and self-generate opportunities by understanding the client’s main business challenges and how Ardoq as a platform can support their initiative.

Your success will depend on your capabilities for understanding and empathizing with our potential customers and shaping solutions by focusing and addressing the customer’s needs. These capabilities are more important for success than persuasion capabilities, such as influencing customers and driving outcomes.

Your main tasks will be to engage and pre-qualify potential Ardoq leads and potential clients by reaching out to key figures and stakeholders. Some of the leads will be generated from our Marketing initiatives – others leads will be nurtured and generated directly from your own out-reach initiatives. It is vital for the role that you thrive on creating relationships by facilitating the initial communication and understanding a client’s needs.

You will also contribute to the culture of Ardoq by contributing with your personal and professional competencies – and actively seek new knowledge to ensure team development.
