Invesdor raised 796,770 euros by 2120 CET on Tuesday. In the same morning, it launched a campaign to reach 750,000 to 1.5 million euros. The investment represents 6-11 percent stake in the company, valuing the firm at 12 million euros.
The firm said the investment would strengthen its position in the maturing market which has seen a wide number of entrants in just a couple of years. “The consolidation game is starting and we are well positioned for it,” the firm said in a statement.
Invesdor’s campaign was launched just a day after its Swedish rival Fundedbyme launched its funding campaign. In 2 days FundedByMe raised 477,000 euros of its 800,000 euros target.
In late April also the top Nordic banking group Nordea unveiled plans to launch its own crowdfunding service.
