Co-working space HUB13 announces its expansion plan

HUB13 takes over Loft Helsinki’s operating responsibility starting in September 2015.

Helsinki’s co-working space HUB13 blows out the candle to celebrate their first birthday with an expansion plan. Following a deal with the Finnish national broadcasting company Yle and City of Helsinki, the startup hub takes over Loft Helsinki operating responsibility starting September 2015 at Yle headquarters in Pasila.

Alongside with expanding, new team spaces in Kaisaniemi – in the city centre of Helsinki – are also announced to be opened without exiting the unique ecosystem of people, events and companies already existing.

“Startups are under a lot of pressure and need all the help they can get. Before money the most decisive elements are a strong peer network and a great place to work. We are also taking a major step towards having an interesting alternative for growing mobile work. Hubs are definitely the future and we want to be a disruptive force within a large market that’s slowly opening up for innovation,” says Ola Sundell, the founder and CEO of HUB13.
