Hashtag App Pulls Up Tweets and Instagram Photos For Events

I’m calling it, summer is over. The trees outside are losing their leaves as fast as our office’s unwatered houseplants, and if you haven’t noticed it’s kind of chilly outside. But now that everyone is back from their summer vacations, conference and events are dotting the calendar. Vilnius, Lithuania based Lemon Labs has put out a nice little app, called Hashtag App, that allows you to easily follow a mashup of Twitter and Instagram infographics on your phone.

This iOS app isn’t reinventing the world as we know it, but it is a handy tool to keep track of everything that’s going on at an event, or your general interests. I found myself pulling the app out during the Olympics, and at the Summer of Startups demoday. It’s quick, and it’s nice to have everything in the same place.

If you find interesting tweets and instagram pictures, you can also use Hashtag App to curate content for your friends. To do so, you just click a “share” button, then select the pictures and tweets worth sharing.

Lemon Labs calls this shareable page a “Hashtagraphic” and you can pass it to friends through Facebook and Twitter, or by copying the link.

It’s a simple tool, but it might be worth taking a look at if you’re attending the #arctic15, or any other events this fall!
