Grünfin is a sustainable investing platform for people who care about their impact. The funding will help the startup expand its product range starting with a new investment plan that will allow employers to offer sustainability-focused investment opportunities as part of their employee loyalty programs. which will have a positive impact on the environment while also engaging and retaining employees.

Grünfin was founded by Triin Hertmann, Alvar Lumberg and Karin Nemec to encourage all to invest in a more sustainable planet and to see a future where all investment decisions are based not just on profit, but also on impact. The startup makes the impact of investments visible. The platform’s sustainable exchange-traded funds enable customers to consider environmental, social, and governance factors when building their portfolios. This platform also takes UN sustainable development goals into account, so customers can pick an investment portfolio that reflects their values.

“Financial independence and sustainability are important keywords for the new generation. Grünfin’s new product is designed for innovative and forward-thinking companies wanting to meet this demand.” comments Triin Hertmann. “Finding and keeping talent is one of the biggest challenges companies face today. Especially the younger generation expects meaningful work and a sense of mission from their employers. In addition, companies are increasingly looking at more sustaable choices and activities”

“Not everybody needs to think of themselves as investors, but everybody should save, and invest. At Grünfin, we’re making sustainable investing accessible and easier than ever. Now with more rocket fuel, and a brand new way for employers to help their talent save.” says Alvar Lumberg.
