GateMe Lets You Skip The Club's Line In Time For New Years

This time of year there’s nothing worse than standing outside in the cold while waiting to get into a bar or club. To get around this problem in several Estonian cities, GateMe is a service that allows you to add yourself to a club’s guest list before showing up at the door. With the service, a nightclub-goer can pre-pay the entrance fee to a club or event, then skip the line and be let in like a VIP.

The service also has an Android app that tells you what the upcoming events are, how far away the establishment is from you, and how much it costs to be let in. You can also pay to be added to the guest list from the app, meaning you can add yourself as soon as you notice there’s a huge line.

The company tells us they’re moving towards full cloud-based customer resource management for nightclubs, and in next version they’ll also offer different kind of packages that nightclubs can sell online in advance. The grand picture is to build a nightlife information portal with a social buying platform for nightlife products, both on the web and as mobile apps.
