ArcticStartup is organizing our fourth Arctic15 event, a premium startup / networking conference which will take place on the 26th-27th of May 2015. We need YOUR help to make the event a success!

Volunteering goes way back at ArcticStartup. In fact, it is a part of the company culture and success. Two out of three partners, Greg Anderson and Jan Ameri, joined the company by first volunteering at Arctic15. Many others found job opportunities, friends and priceless connections by networking with our attendees & speakers. This year, we want to take all that to the next level and we need your help.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to help us during the event.

Ideally you are:

  • Fluent in English.

  • Enthusiastic about startups.

  • Social and outgoing.

  • People-oriented and energetic.
  • The tasks we need help with include:

  • Registration of guests.
Assisting speakers, investors, press and VIP’s.
  • General maintenance.
  • Stage assistance.
  • Helping to build and decorate the venue.
  • Etc.
  • In return you will get:

  • Attendance to the conference for free during both days of the event.
ArcticStartup Merchandise (T-Shirts, Stickers, etc.)

  • Free drinks at the AfterParty.
  • Work certificate.
  • Here is what few of our earlier volunteers say about volunteering at Arctic15:

M: Arctic15 allowed me to get to know the startup ecosystem in Finland. I liked their timely preparatory meetings, the friendly atmosphere, and the kick-ass attitude and ambition of the core team. There is something in there for anybody to learn. I’ve got to know awesome people while volunteering with them, and some have become my friends. I have participated in one of the most talked-about event of the year, capable of being seen at par with Slush.

T: Arctic15 was truly a great experience! The best part of volunteering in Arctic15 was the people – both the organizers and volunteers were just awesome, and I’m glad that I’ve met them all! It was also a great opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship: full of interesting talks and persons.

Y: The Arctic15 was truly an inspiring professional experience infused with the volunteering spirit which makes the entire experience both unique and rewarding. Moreover, the Arctic15 allowed me to expand my network and connect with wonderful professional people. The positive and competitive environment takes the volunteering experience to a whole new level, especially that volunteers get to work with internationalized top class professionals. That makes this a golden opportunity for students or professionals seeking to upgrade their people skills or simply learn more about the business world. Overall, I highly recommend volunteering at the Arctic15, this is a golden gate to a more expanded network and you don’t want to miss it.

To apply, please fill out the form below before Tuesday, the 12th of May. We will be making decisions as the applications come in, so the earlier you apply – the better:
