Former CEO of HUI joins Swedish initiative for sustainable e-commerce

Jonas Arnberg, the former CEO of HUI Research, joins Hållbar E-handel, a Swedish initiative for making e-commerce more sustainable, as a new board member of the non-profit organization.

The issue of having limited amount of resources in our planet to meet our needs and wants has been getting more attention in the last couple of decades. So, sustainability field keeps growing, especially in the Nordic region. With many environmental concerns around it, e-commerce industry requires some sort of intervention in order to make it more sustainable.

Hållbar E-handel is a non-profit organization based in Sweden that aims to make the e-commerce industry more sustainable and eco-friendly. Recently Jonas Arnberg, the former CEO of HUI, has been elected to become a board member of the organization.

About this recent development, Patrik Rees, the chairman of Hållbar E-handel has stated:

“We are very happy that Jonas wants to be part of the board in Sustainable E-commerce. With Jonas’ solid background and experience, we see it as a great addition of skills to our board.”

The former CEO’s solid background can be useful for the organization in the future

Since Jonas Arnberg has a very solid background in business as the CEO of HUI, chief economist at Swedish Trade and senior consultant at Prime and United Minds as well as the founder of the leading industry report E-barometer, we can say that this recent development may strengthen the organization. Moreover, Arnberg also currently runs the Retail Podcast and Shopadviser.

Since the day that it started, Hållbar E-handel aims to make e-commerce more sustainable and the noble goals of the organization don’t go unnoticed. According to Sanna Thurdin, the Chief Operating Officer and a board member of Hållbar E-handel, the number of members of the initiative has been growing. Then she adds that they will have opportunity to create more and increase the value for their members with Jonas Arnberg’s relevant experience.
