Finnish Fintech Startup Cloudasset Brings Home Awards

A Helsinki based Fintech company Cloudasset competed in Worldline’s E-Payments Challenge, which took place on 17th-19th September in Frankfurt, Germany. They walked away with the most number of awards per company in the Worldline E-Payments Challenge this year including the Worldline’s Grand Prix Special Prize.

The challenge gathered nearly 150 participants from Fintech start-ups, Worldline experts and leading enterprises across Europe such as BNP Paribas, E5mode, Accor hotels, OP Financial Group, Conduent, Erste Group, Market Pay Commerzbank and others. Top 26 EU based Fintech’s were selected from amongst hundreds of initial candidates within the European Fintech community, including Finnish startups Cloudasset and Bankify.

The hackathon consisted of 16 customer challenges from different industries and markets. Each Fintech could participate in a maximum of three challenges, with the challenge setting customer and jury deciding the winner in each challenge. 

Cloudasset develops Cloud Native Platforms for Digital Payments, Big Data, Social and Mobile Technologies. Their platforms integrate Cloud First/ Mobile-First technologies with proprietary data management, data processing, and data analytics tools to develop flexible platforms that meet the ever-dynamic needs of our customers.

P3 is a Fintech platform featuring an interactive payment service at the point of sale or online. The platform offers a comprehensive suite of tools such as payment acceptance & processing, digital wallets and digital MPOS (Mobile Point of Sale) solutions for a variety of business types, enabling them to set up payments quickly.

P3 platform, Cloudasset’s digital payment platform, won the award for “In-Store Instant Cards Issuing In-App” challenge set by BNP Paribas, for a Co-branded App allowing instant credit card issuing. P3 also won the award in the “Try Now Buy Later” challenge set by E5-mode, a fashion retailer looking to offer more to its customers by providing them a carefree consumer experience during their in-store and online buying process.

On top of the two category awards, Cloudasset also received a Grand Prix special prize for overall performance and future potential. Hasan Malik, CEO of Cloudasset commented,
