Loupedeck, the Helsinki-based creator of custom consoles, announced a 2 million euros investment from zVentures, the corporate venture arm of Razer, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers.

The investment will be used to further Loupedeck’s growth, building off the September 2020 release of the Loupedeck Live, the power console designed specifically with live streaming in mind.

Founded in 2016 with a highly successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, Loupedeck has experienced rapid growth and is now the leading brand of custom editing consoles within professional and hobbyist workstations.

“Our mission is to make the lives of content creators more seamless and successful, and our recent entry into the live streaming market has allowed us to expand that mission to help streamers as well,” said Mikko Kesti, Founder and CEO of Loupedeck. “Live streaming has seen exponential growth over the past year and with Razer’s partnership, we are well positioned to continue building market share of live-streamers looking to level up their streams.”

“When we first met Loupedeck, we were excited about their innovative solutions to help content creators take precise control over their workflow,” said Cho Weihao, Investment Director at Razer. “Loupedeck’s consoles enable gamers and live streamers to produce and deliver compelling, high-quality content their viewers have come to demand. We look forward to working closely with Mikko and his team as they accelerate Loupedeck’s expansion in the live streaming market and beyond.”
