Whether you love the summer heat and will need the comfort of good company as it’s over and autumn begins, or you have been cooked enough and want to celebrate the arrival of cool air, a great place for getting together at the end of summer will be our local startup event darling combo of Startup Community Forum (hosted by Startin.LV and Startup Latvia (LIAA)) + Startup BBQ (hosted by TechHub Riga).
Heat aside, 2023 has been a tough year. Investments have dried up, the war continues, and living expenses keep rising. But the world keeps turning and we need to come together to show that our little startup community is more tightly-knit and resilient than ever. Come and share what’s up with you!

WHERE/ WHEN/ WHAT:
This year Startup Community Forum and BBQ is taking place on the very brink of autumn – August 29. Let’s come together and transition from summer to fall together. It’s a Tuesday, but that’s why we have the BBQ – so you get enough energy for the rest of the week!

IMPORTANT: this is a celebration of the ecosystem by the ecosystem, and without your participation, there would be no community and no grilling without the ingredients. So – you know the drill – bring something to share for the grilling and give us a message if you want to organize a fun activity for others! Remember, when startup ecosystem players join forces, everything is possible!
Bottom line – tickets are limited, grab some for Startup Community Forum, Startup BBQ, or both!

Note: If you are out of the loop on why it’s not called Startup Day anymore, then oh boy, do we have news for you! Instead of the old format of Community Forum being part of Startup Day, it now has it’s own day – with extra focus so that everyone gets a chance to tell the community their news. Meanwhile, Startup Day is now merged with Latvian Startup Awards – taking place for the first time this year, and celebrating the best of our community.
