Startup Extreme hits Norway this Midsummer

If you live here up in the Arctic region, you get a little cabin fever come the summer. Sure you need to get some work done and make some key connections to investors and fellow entrepreneurs, but why do that inside when we’ve only got a few months of good weather? That’s the idea behind Startup Extreme taking place June 17-19 in the extreme mountains of Voss, Norway. Only 300 attendees will be chosen by a selection panel, meaning you should apply today before the tickets get all divvied out.

The event, run by the folks at Startup Norway is getting entrepreneurs outside and active for small group sessions, talks, and plenty of good Norwegian food. The event kicks off June 17th at High Tech Norway in Bergen after which attendees will travel by train to the mountains of Voss, where they’ll stay for two nights and experience Midsummer the Norwegain way, which means plenty of outdoor activities cumulating in the Startup Olympics.

Speakers include Carl Waldecranz from Tictail, Rameet Chawla from Fuled, and Courtney Boyd Myers from Audience.io. Joined by them are investors like Jason Ball from Qualcomm Ventures, and of course Paul Bragiel. And from the Media side at lest we’ll be there, as well as Robin Wauters from Tech.eu – a full list can be found on their website.

We’re all about events that try to do one thing right – Slush pulls in the international attention to the region, our Arctic15 conference focuses on meetings and getting results, and Startup Extreme looks like it’s going to nail that soft networking and bonding between attendees.
