No 5 game on the U.S. iPhone app store was created by Tuomas in 2 weeks, alone.
Tuomas’ game Breakout Ninja has made into Top 10 of gaming charts in 26 countries now. There are other one-man gaming studios, but the success of Tuomas Erikoinen is rather unique.
But so is the man. Erikoinen is the artist behind Angry Birds, and he was also a co-founder of Boomlagoon, but left the company in 2015.
“When you’re capable of doing all aspects alone and focus on small games, the development is at least 1,000% faster, compared to my earlier life,” said Erikoinen who is currently working on an update with ‘new fields and a hard mode’.
Breakout Ninja is a Top 10 game also in countries like Germany, Australia and India, according to App Annie.
