EdTech startup raises more than €660k

Vignita, a promising startup from Norway focused on the education market for adults, is now planning to expand into the international markets with €660k raised during their latest funding round. In a time where we are going through a skill shortage internationally, they are aiming to make a significant impact.

Vignita was founded in 2017 by Øystein Barhaughøgda and Mariann Ertresvåg and now it is serving around 1400 companies in Norway. As an innovative learning platform that brings different forms of training together, there is no mystery behind the success of the startup. The platform helps many companies find specialists to train their staff and fulfills an important role in training and education.

Services that Vignita provides for its customers have an extensive range of uses which include in-house training, further education, onboarding, certification and retraining. Due to these services, the startup has a solid customer base that keeps growing.

The education startup Vignita moves daringly into the international markets

As we enter a new era in business where more and more workers are quitting everyday and the demand for professionals is increasing, the role that startups like Vignita play is becoming more important. Owing partly to this, the startup has completed a successful funding round which managed to raise €660k.

Now the startup is planning to expand into first the Nordic market and then the rest of Europe. About the plans to move forward, Øystein Barhaughøgda, the CEO of Vignita has stated:

“We have run a thorough pilot together with a wide range of customers and the feedback has only been positive. We can now offer tools and solutions that meet the needs of the market.”

If the previous success of the startup means anything, we can say that Vignita should have a bright future ahead of it. However, we can only see how their plans turn out as time goes by.
