We’ve partnered with Deloitte this year to promote their Technology Fast 50 program here in Finland. Every year, Deloitte organises a competition to find and promote the fastest growing technology companies. In 2009, Finland’s winner was Endero, who had grown 3277% over the last 5 years.
There are two categories in the competition; The Finnish Fast 50 competition is open for technology companies that have been operating for 5 years or more and companies with 3 to 4 years of operation participate in the Deloitte Fast 50 Rising Star ranking.
Technology Fast 50 in Finland is part of Deloitte’s Fast 500 EMEA programme. Top contenders in each country automatically participate in the EMEA programme. In 2009, 23 companies from Finland made it to the EMEA Fast 500 list, and hopefully that number is even higher this year.
In 2009, there were six companies with growth rates over 1000% over the 5 year period. They were; Endero Oy, Roottori Oy, Labyrintti Media Oy, Severa Oyj, Sievo Oy and Heeros Systems. The 50th company on the list, Neotide Oy, managed to grow by 95% so almost doubling its turnover in the 5 years. If you think you can make it to the list – you should strongly consider participating. The competition will bring you a nice amount of visibility and industry connections.
This year, the Finnish Fast 50 seminar and awards ceremony will be held in November. You are able to nominate your company to the competition between first of June and July 31st.
